Algoma Concerts in the Park has joined forces with Artbeet, a cool Kewaunee County Arts group, which will bring a new dimension to The concerts series. Although the acts have not been officially announced, we have a contract with Tad Robinson, Copper Box. Big Mouth. I am working on some national acts and have offers for Marcia Ball and Terrance Simien, I am hoping to bring a bit of louisianna to Algoma.
Artbeet will bring some fun things to the table, including artists displaying their wares, Art projects for children beginning at 5:00 pm and a whole lot more, this is the site to keep up to date on. If you have any questions or would like to help, we can always use help. This is the first post, you can expect more soon. If you would like to make a financial contribution, you can drop off a donation at Steele St. Floral in Algoma, or at the Flying Pig.
This is the 7th year of this concert series, I started it to bring a little more fun to Algoma, and it is growing at the pace I expected, now we are expanding and we will be a serious destination for great music and Art.
